The official cafe etiquette is based on the Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. These agreements are not only a great guide for getting the most out of theLcafe, they are also a great guide for getting the most out of your life!
1. Be Impeccable With Your Word. Our perceptions of others are merely reflections of ourselves. So when you find yourself thinking about or talking about others - you are actually revealing more about yourself than anyone else. Bring your best self to theLcafe and enjoy the best others have to bring of themselves.
2. Don't Take Anything Personally. Remember #1 above, what anybody thinks about you, or says about you, is really about them.
3. Don't Make Assumptions. When we have to fill in the blanks, or make assumptions, there is an enormous chance that we will get it wrong. It's best to let something be what it is, without putting our own personal spin on it. As Byron Katie says, "who's business is it?" Yours - Mine, or Gods (or a higher power). If it's not your business, it's best left alone.
